This page explains how to ask for your Mafia's Choice account and data to be deleted. Mafia's Choice is made by Watertate Gaming.
How to delete your account in the game
- Open Mafia's Choice on your device.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete Account and follow the prompts.
Deleting your account from Settings is the fastest way and takes effect straight away.
If you can't open the game
Email watertategaming@gmail.com with the subject "Mafia's Choice account deletion". Send it from the Google account you signed in with, so we can match it to your backup, and ask us to delete your account.
If you only ever played as a guest, nothing about your game is stored in the cloud. Deleting the game from your device removes your local data.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we delete:
- your game on the device;
- your cloud backup, including your saved game, character names and progress summary;
- your player account, including the link to your Google account and the email address stored with your backup;
- your analytics data.
What is kept, and for how long
- Analytics data: kept for the period set by Unity Analytics, then deleted or anonymised.
- Data held by ad providers: kept under their own policies. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.
- Purchase records: payments are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store, which keep their own records under their own policies. We never receive your payment card details.
